Certificate Product Changes

These product changes are available upon request for existing contracts and they are included in new contracts if selected.
> Addition of 2-year and 3-year validity for AutoEnrollment and API-Enrollment products
> Addition of “AE TC Trust SSL” allows requesting “TC Trust SSL” certificates via API and AutoEnrollment
> TC Extended Trust SSL certificate has been added
> “TC Publisher ID” code signing certificates have been added for Java Desktop, Microsoft Authenticode and Adobe AIR

Product options for SSL certificates

Number of server licenses can be specified when requesting a new SSL certificate. Up to three are included by default. Additional licenses are available in blocks of 3.
Additionally, the number of server names (SANs) can be specified when requesting a new SSL certificate. Up to three are included by default. Additional hostnames are available in blocks of 3.
The product price will be recomputed based on the selected number of server licenses and server names.

Add remaining validity of existing SSL certificate

This feature allows you to renew certificates in advance without loosing paid validity. The remaining validity period (up to 90 days) is automatically added to the validity period of a newly requested SSL certificate if the existing certificate has the same server name (in the common name) and has been issued by either TC TrustCenter or a listed competitor (if the server is publicly accessible).

Anonymous request pages for SSL certificates

Anonymous request pages are particularly useful if the potential number of persons entitled to request SSL certificate is relatively large.
SSL certificates can be requested by users without an account (i.e. unauthenticated or anonymous users). These “anonymous requests” have to be approved (or rejected) by PKI Administrator or Enrollment Officer. The use of anonymous request pages has to be activated in the configuration menu. Anonymous request URLs are product and affiliate specific.
They can be generated in the configuration | contract | <current contract> | <specific product configuration menu>

SSL Certificate Discovery Tool

> A CSV file containing the search result is being generated.
> Markup changes mode if the result of a previous scan is being found.
> EV certificates are detected and marked.
> Private roots can be uploaded in order to detect and mark privately rooted SSL certificates.
> Non standard SSL ports (e.g. POP over SSL, SMTP over SSL, …) can be scanned.
